Bernese Football Academy for Ambitious Children and Teenagers

Fussballschule Bern mit professioneller Betreuung für Kinder

Many Bernese parents are looking for a football school for their football-loving children that offers more than large groups and standardized programs. One that truly provides individual attention to their children, from coaches with genuine qualifications. One that communicates transparently and can demonstrate results.

360Football has been active in Bern and the Canton of Bern for years. Our approach fundamentally differs from traditional football schools. Instead of training large groups, we work with a maximum of three children per coach. Instead of standard programs, we create individual development plans. Instead of changing coaches, your dedicated contact person stays with you for months and years.

What makes a good football school in Bern

Parents who are looking into football schools for the first time will encounter many providers with grand promises. What criteria help distinguish a truly good football school from superficial offers?

Coach Qualifications

Ask specifically: Have the coaches played at a high level themselves? Do they have coaching licenses or pedagogical training? Do they work full-time or part-time? A coach who has played in the Super League, Challenge League, or another professional league brings knowledge that cannot be acquired from books alone.

Group Size per Coach

In many football schools, twelve to twenty children train per coach. Do a quick calculation: with a 60-minute training session and twenty children, each child gets exactly three minutes of direct contact. That's not enough for real development. The smaller the group, the more feedback your child receives.

Individuality of Programs

Does the football school inquire beforehand about your child's current level, their strengths and weaknesses, and their goals? Or are all children put through the same program? True development requires individual starting points.

Communication with Parents

Good football schools provide regular feedback on the child's development. Not just at the end of the season, but continuously. Inquire during the preliminary discussion about what this communication looks like specifically.

Transparent Pricing and Flexible Conditions

Long-term contracts are a red flag. Reputable providers impress with quality, not contract durations. Pay attention to fair cancellation periods and transparent pricing.

How 360Football works

Fussballschule Bern für Kinder in kleinen Gruppen

Our football school in Bern adheres to these criteria, not because they are a marketing trick, but because we are convinced that true development happens this way.

Maximum group size of three children. A coach never supervises more than three players at a time. Most often, it's one or two. Your child receives the attention that classic football schools cannot provide.

Professional coaches with high-performance football backgrounds. Our coaches have played or coached at a high level themselves, including players from the Super League, Challenge League, Bundesliga, and the Swiss national team. Your child learns from people who have walked the path to the top themselves.

Individual development plan. Before the first training session begins, we conduct an initial consultation with you. In it, we get to know your child, discuss their strengths and weaknesses, and set specific goals. Based on this, a customized training plan is created.

Regular feedback. After each session, there is brief feedback. Additionally, every few weeks, we schedule a longer progress review to reflect on the development together with you as parents.

No long-term contracts. We do not bind you for years. If you realize it's not a good fit, you can pause or stop at any time. Our clients stay with us because of the quality, not because contracts force them to.

Which age groups is our Bern football school suitable for?

We work with children and teenagers from six to eighteen years old. For each age phase, there is a different thematic focus.

Six to nine years: Fun and Fundamentals

In this age phase, the primary focus is on enjoying the ball and developing motor skills. Children playfully learn to master simple movement patterns. Ball control, dribbling, a first shot. All with a lot of positivity and without performance pressure.

Ten to thirteen years: Solidifying Technical Foundation

The golden age of learning. Technical skills can now be acquired particularly quickly. Children develop initial preferences, perhaps already play in a Bernese club, and realize they want more. We help solidify the technical foundation and understand initial tactical ideas.

Fourteen to eighteen years: Targeted Development

This is the phase where it is decided who makes the leap into performance teams or even an academy and who does not. Here, we work very specifically on the things that make a difference. Decision-making speed, mental strength, athletic foundations, and techniques required at a higher level.

Training Locations in Bern and Surrounding Areas

We use various sports facilities in Bern and the Bernese surrounding area. Whether it's the city of Bern, Köniz, Ostermundigen, Worb, or Thun, depending on your child's place of residence, we will find a place that is easily accessible for you. We will coordinate the specific locations after the initial consultation.

For special training formats or in bad weather, our 360Footballarena in Oberembrach ZH is also available. Although the journey from Bern takes over an hour, the training there with the Soccerbot360 system offers a level of feedback that is not possible on conventional pitches. For ambitious players, occasional sessions in the arena are a worthwhile investment.

Football Private Training in Other Regions

360Football offers individual football training at several locations in German-speaking Switzerland:

What Children and Parents Report After a Few Weeks

Arrange a free initial consultation now

The feedback after the first training sessions shows a clear pattern. Children come home enthusiastic and want to train again immediately. Parents report that their children seem more content and confident after the sessions than after regular club training.

A little later, after four to six weeks, we see the first measurable progress. The children appear more coordinated with the ball, their ball reception and control become cleaner, and decisions on the field come faster. Club coaches often notice that a child suddenly plays differently, without being able to pinpoint exactly why.

After three months of regular training, the difference is visible to everyone. In selections and tryouts, our children demonstrably have higher success rates because they are better prepared than children who only participate in club training.

What Parents Ask Us Most Frequently

Does my child already need experience to start with you?

No. We work with children of all levels. Some of our children already play in a Bernese club, while others have never trained regularly. What matters is not the starting level, but the joy of the game and the willingness to work with us regularly.

How often should my child come to you in addition to their club training?

For most children who already play in a club, one additional session per week is ideal. This provides enough extra development without overloading the child. Ambitious teenagers train with us up to twice a week.

How much does a training session at your football school cost?

Prices depend on the format. Individual training costs more per session than small-group training. We offer discounts for packages and siblings. We will discuss the exact prices during the initial consultation so that you receive an offer that suits your situation.

How does the initial consultation work?

The initial consultation usually takes place by phone or video and lasts about twenty minutes. We get to know you and your child, discuss the current situation, goals, and explain how we work. At the end, you will have a clear assessment and a concrete proposal. You can then decide calmly whether to start.

Can I also interrupt the training?

Yes. We work without long-term contract commitments. If training needs to be paused due to holidays, school, or an injury, it can be done at any time. Our collaborative work is based on trust, not compulsion.
